Our distinctive approach revolves around curated exhibitions that showcase the incredible talents of these budding creatives, all at no cost to them. What sets us apart is that we firmly believe artists deserve not only recognition but also financial freedom. When a piece of art finds a new home, the artist receives 100% of the earnings—a revolutionary concept that empowers the artists to continue their journey with renewed vigor.

Not only did we celebrate the inauguration of the new creative and co-working space „AUDA Studios“ which now is the home of „Art Supports Art“ and provides even more support and possibilities for young artists.

But we also payed tribute to the spirit of analog photography with

„Art Supports Art - on film“.

This collaboration was formed make space for analog artists and enthusiasts to come together and appreciate the power of visual storytelling… the good old fashioned way.

Amidst the challenges and uncertainties brought forth by the Covid-19 pandemic, a brilliant spark of creativity and community spirit ignited the birth of "Art Supports Art."

In the heart of the bustling city of Basel we held volume 1 of „Art Supports Art“. Against all odds, the once pop-up store „ThisIsYours“ became our canvas for the weekend.

For two unforgettable days, our exhibition played host to a curated collection of 14 wonderful photographers from all over the world (irl and virtually) each weaving their own narrative through the lens. With a rich tapestry of styles, perspectives, and stories, these artists transformed images into windows to the soul.

None of this would have been possible without the support of our partner, "BaselLive" Their generosity and belief in the transformative power of art brought the venue to life.

And even tho the world was focused on the very stressful topic of the pandemic, over 300 visitors ventured into our exhibition and filled it with character and joy. The air was electric with creativity, curiosity, and a shared understanding that art transcends barriers and unites souls. As visitors perused the individual walls of art, connections were forged, conversations flowed freely, and friendships blossomed

Looking back, we are filled with gratitude for every artist who shared their vision, every visitor who embarked on this journey with us, and every supporter who breathed life into our collective dream. The echoes of laughter, the hushed whispers of admiration, and the shared moments of wonder.

Whether in Basel or anywhere else, our dedication remains firm – to close gaps in support and opportunities for young artists. We are happy to share that Art Supports Art has found its main residency at AUDA Studios that serves us as permanent exhibition, workshop and community space.
